Make Undeletable Folder

1)Open cmd ( Press Windows+R ,type cmd and then Enter )

2)In cmd change to the directory that you want,I changed to E. Just type E: and enter.
3)Type md \lpt1\\ and press enter, the folder will now in your E:
4)If you try to delete or rename it, it doesn,t gets deleted or some error msg will appear.

How to delete undeletable folder?

Just go to cmd Navigate to the directory and type in rd \lpt1\\

Use Notepad as a Diary

Use notepad as a Diary to maintain your records .Just cool name but yes while typing or writing you can just press F5 and date time will be displayed and you can write what happened on that time .

Example:
9:04 AM 03/01/2012 Wow! Just got a call for a job.

Instruction:
While typing in note pad press F5 to get [hour:minute am/pm month/day/year]
eg : [9:01 AM 03/01/2012]

or go to Edit, then on time/date

Crazy Notepad Tricks – Toggle the Caps Lock button continuously!!

Want to have some fun with your Friends?? Then this small trick can be useful for you.

What this trick does is, when you run the following script it starts blinking Caps Lock light continuously.
If you run this script twice the rate of blink increases and alternatively NumLock light start to blink with CapsLock.

Open Notepad and Type :

Unknown Gtalk Shortcuts

1) Change the Font size – Just Press CTRL+ Mouse Scroll up/down Over a input text in a conversation.

2) Send a instant mail – Press F9 to send a email to your friend (Make sure you have selected/Highlighted your friend in the gtalk list).

3) Make a Instant call – Press F11 to start a call with your friend (Make sure you have selected/highlighted your friend in the gtalk list)

4) Stop the Current Call – Press F12 to stop the current running call on gtalk.

5) Close Current Window – Press ESC.

6) Minimize the window – Press ALT + ESC at a time.

12) Appearance – Change the look of the chat conversation with 11 default themes. Go to Settings–>Appearance –> Chat Theme.

13) Smileys – Use Default Smileys like eg: : ) : D : ( : ‘ ( : P BP : O : | 8 ) and so on.. note that this smiles can only show a symbol but not emoticon

Password Protect your Word Documents

We all use Microsoft Word to create documents and some times we 

dont want other people to access our documents
specially when you are on a shared computer in your company and yo

u may have your certain secret data stored in your word document that

 should not be accessed by your boss or other employee’s.

To deal with such a situation Microsoft word 2007 integrated a security

 feature in Microsoft word so that you can password protect your files.

Just follow these simple steps to make your document protected

1. Click on the Microsoft Office Button present on the top left corner of the window.
2. Now Click on the Save As option
3. Now a new window will pop up.
4. Click on Tools option at the bottom of the window.
5. Choose General Options from the pop up menu.
6. Now You can select either one or both options

One is Password To Open it will ask for the password every time the document is opened.
So to view the document you have to enter the password first.

Second is Password To Modify it will ask for the password every time somebody tries to modify the document.

Make Matrix with Notepad

Password Protect your Google Chrome

Simple Startup Password is an addon for Google Chrome browser that blocks unauthorized people from using your browser. Just go to the extensions gallery of Google Chrome and install the Simple Startup Passwordadd-on for your browser.

After installing the add-on go to Settings -> Options ->Extensions. There look for Simple Startup Password and click on Options. Set a password for your browser and done. Now every time you start your Google Chrome browser it will ask you for the password and if you fail to give the correct password your browser will be closed.

Get Passwords in your Network (Network Sniffiing) – Ettercap – Tutorial

In my last post i discussed some of the sniffing tools, here i am discussing how to use ettercap for sniffing network.
You can use ettercap on any linux platform and it is also available for windows but the stable versions are very less in case of windows. Those who are aware of backtrack, good news is that ettercap comes pre-installed and configured in it.

Open up a console and tye “ettercap -G” (withour quotes)

You will get something like this:

Now, click on Sniff>Unified Sniffing. A Dialog box will pop open, asking for the network interface. Select the one you are using.

You will notice that there are many more options on the top menu bar, for now however, click on hosts>Scan For Hosts. Wait for it to finish.

Now, click on Mitm (Man in the Middle), and select Arp Poisoning, and check the box that says “sniff remote connections”. Click ok.

Alright, now, all you need to do is click on start>start sniffing. Go to another computer on your network and head over to some website where credentials are needed (Email, Forums, Facebook,Myspace etc). Log in and you should see your details come up in Ettercap. To stop sniffing, simple click on Start>Stop Sniffing, and Mitm>Stop Mitm attacks.

Note : Please note that there are ways to secure a network against this, and it isn’t 100% guaranteed to work 100% of the time.

Do you think that you are safe by using some smart antivirus tools to protect your 

computer from backdoors like remote administrator tools or from keyloggers, it is

good to use smart antivirus and firewall but you must consider sniffing as a security

 issue. There are so many tools available for various operating system including

 windows and Linux, we will talk about the tools later on but firstly there is a need to

 describe sniffing.

Network sniffing tools and packet analyser tools are generally the same thing, the main purpose of sniffing is to analyse the incoming and outgoing packets, keep in mind when you connect to a web server or to any network (computer) you send your data via wired connection or wireless connection in the form of packets, your data goes in the form of packets.

A packet contains the source (Sender) and the destination (Receiver) IP and MAC address and it also contains the data that are going to be sent. So just imagine if someone gets this packet then he/she can easily know what you have sent, an attacker can easily sniff your confidential information (credit card, paypal, passwords etc), so sniffing is the important attack that should be consider as a security measure.

Large organisation and web server uses secure connection for transmission, for example paypal uses https:// instead of http:// so its means your data goes in the form of encrypted data. If you are using SSL it does not mean that you are secure ever, there are ways to crack the secure channel.

All the thing that are discussed above shows that sniffing is not a good thing, however it is not true the Positive usage of sniffer is also its regular usage, which aims to maintain network and system working normally.

Capturing packets
Recording and analysing traffic
Decrypting packets and displaying in clear text
Converting data to readable format
Showing relevant information like IP, protocol, host or server name and so on.

While the negative usage is open and clear:

Catching password, which is the main reason for most illegal uses of sniffing tool
Capturing special and private information of transactions, like username, credit ID, account, and password
Recording email or instant message and resuming its content

Secret Trick to Close Windows Explorer

Have you ever wondered how to close the Explorer? The most among you

 probably know that you can just open Task Manager and kill the explorer.exe

 process, but there’s actually another way to do it built right into Windows 7 and Vista.

Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys, then open up the start menu, and right-click anywhere

 on the blank space. You’ll see a new menu with an Exit Explorer item on it, which will

 immediately terminate the desktop shell—keep in mind to reopen it you’ll need to

 use Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager, and then File –> Run and type in explorer.exe.

Send colorful text in facebook chat

This trick is solely based on the fact that when profile ID’s are inserted in between square brackets, it automatically transforms into the profile picture. These ID’s are specially created for this purpose.

You can also send messages in colourful text but these codes will not work in Status update. This will also not work if the other person is using chat from his mobile.
